As the 1st Monday of May is approaching, I am anxious about what we will see at the Met Gala this year. (a.k.a. Fashion’s Biggest Night!)
The year’s theme is “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” which, according to Vogue.com ‘will celebrate the full work and life of Karl Lagerfeld.’ We are all expected to see many looks of his design; Patou, Balmain, Chloé, Fendi, Chanel, and his own Karl Lagerfeld brand.
I look forward to seeing what the stars wear and the opportunities to witness some of his most storied designs that have been locked away in time. I expect lots of Chanel and Fendi Haute Couture, vintage Patou and Balmain, and more modern looks from Karl Lagerfeld. Chloé looks have me the most excited.
