Last Friday, March 3rd, The Children’s Place teamed up with football stars Eli Manning, Shaun O’Hara, and Justin Tuck for a charitable event to celebrate the launch of their new Spring 2023 range and give back to local communities. The event began with a visit to the Children’s Cancer Institute at Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital, located at Hackensack University Medical Center, where patients and their families were received Easter goodies, followed by a big community football event and Easter Hunt at the Superdome Sports Complex in Waldick, NJ.

The Children’s Place is known for being a brand committed to giving back; just last year, they partnered with Kevin Hart to build community centers and libraries for kids in underserved communities.

“A big part of our Spring 2023 brand campaign was to figure out how to give back to communities. The partnership with Eli Manning came about as he’s already involved with Tackle Kids Cancer and we’re really aligned with that. We loved the idea of putting on an event where kids could have a great time, get involved in some team sports and have fun with their idols.”

Maegan Markee, Senior VP Marketing

As well as some football-related activities, and games with Eli, Shaun, and Justin, the event also included a giant Easter egg hunt complete with pastel bunny baskets for collectors and an opportunity to personalize some of the new Easter collection t-shirts.

At the event, Eli and Shaun commented on their desire to work with The Children’s Place due to their commitment to giving back. Both love that the brand focuses on a range of support, from children suffering from illnesses to those living in areas with fewer community resources.

With an estimated 300+ local New Jersey kids in attendance, the day was a great success and a heartwarming Easter celebration.
