If you’re a regular reader, you know we love Mavi, and we’re bringing you a fresh look at their new collection. If you’re new here, get to know one of our favorite sustainable denim brands through their Fall 2023 styles!

For the Fall ’23 collection, Mavi has continued using natural dye in a gorgeous sage green and muted brown palette. All the threads used in creating Mavi pieces are recyclable, buttons are made from nut shells, and everything is vegan.

For the natural dye collection, Mavi presents a looser, more oversized fit and silhouette, which ties into the staple women’s collection for Fall, which has indigos and darker colors in different washes, and a range of fits. The women’s feather blue range is for anyone preferring denim with a little stretch. Known for stretch retention, Mavi’s Feather Blue is tailored into slim and skinny silhouettes, molding to your body shape but bouncing back after every wear.

For men, the organic and recycled cotton pieces have a salvage-inspired look. The cotton used for the collection has given a flexible and much softer denim feel than traditional denim. The Fall collection has a new black colorway that is fade-proof! The menswear section includes button-up shirts with new textures, t-shirts, flannels, and plenty of layering options. Men can also shop from Mavi’s athleisure pieces made with a knit fabric, mimicking denim but giving the comfort of sportswear.

Women’s sportswear has leveled up too, made with modal – a sustainable, plant-based material – this part of the collection is super soft and comfortable and kind to the planet.

The LA Blue collection has the nineties, retro-inspired look, including details such as pockets on the front, slits at the side, and frayed hems to give a 90s- early 2000s vibe.

Another part of the collection we love is the Tencel collaboration. The two brands have been working together for a while now. For Fall Mavi, they have used Tencels “re-fibre” technology, which has turned pre- and post-consumer cotton waste into a pulp, combined with the wood fibers they’re already using, and created a super sustainable textile for Mavi’s pieces. This is just another elevation for Mavi’s sustainability goals.

Beyond denim, Mavi creates long-lasting, stylish pieces such as cargo pants, corduroy shirts, chinos, and loungewear. Visit www.mavi.com to shop!

Mavi collaborated with Terrart for this press day, a special collab in which Terrart used deadstock scraps of Mavi denim and stones from the stone washing process in the terrariums!
