Having used their swimsuits for editorial shoots in the past, we were already familiar with Swiminista and their Founder, CEO and Designer Andrea Bernholtz.
At Miami Swim Week Swiminista showcased their new collaborative collection with Christian Lacroix. The collection includes great new styles in beautiful, exotic prints such as the black butterfly. With the prints from the Christian Lacroix, Swiminista have expanded on the main collection, as well as the resort wear so you’ll now be able to shop little dresses, tunics, two-pieces, sarongs, hoodies and kimonos. The Mommy & Me segment of the collection also features some cute but chic Christian Lacroix prints.
The second collaboration showcased at the Cabana Show is the new work with Australian artist James Peter Henry. You may remember Henry’s work as it was recently featured on the Sydney Opera House, and the very same print is now featured on Swiminista’s new collection as well as a small collection of men’s swimwear and an expansion into towels.
Swiminista presents themselves as a problem-solving brand, they’ve taken shapewear and swimwear and put them together for the most incredibly comfortable fitting garments. Pieces are designed to be versatile and adjustable, for example the Wise Bottoms which have an adjustable side strap so you can get the perfect fit for your body, whatever kind of day it’s having!
With an ever-expanding collection of fun prints and styles, Swiminista has got to be on your list of go-to swimwear brands.
