Saks CEO Marc Metrick, together with Saks Spring 2023 campaign star and actress in the new hit movie Maybe I Do, Emma Roberts, hosted a star-studded party to celebrate the kick-off of New York Fashion Week. The event took place at The Jazz Club at The Aman New York and featured special performances by Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Charli XCX and bounce artist and performer Big Freedia.
Guests were welcomed at the exclusive speakeasy-style jazz club with the signature Saks champagne tower and sipped on bespoke cocktails while dancing the night away. The event featured intimate performances by Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Charli XCX, who played a selection of her top hits, including Boys, Beg For You, and Good Ones, and Grammy-nominated bounce artist and performer Big Freedia, who played several songs, including Explode/, Break My Soul, Karaoke and Big Diva Energy. House DJ Alice Longyu Gao took the stage in between sets. Following the performances, guests were treated to late-night pizza service from Joe’s Pizza paired with caviar bumps provided by CY Kitchen.
