For the Autumn-Winter 2022/23 season, GEOX‘s women’s footwear collection navigates an increasingly steadfast course towards a new low-key elegance with a series of diverse qualities that coalesce perfectly: an aesthetic that abounds in refined details and exudes feminine flair merges with environmentally friendly materials and the unrivaled comfort stemming from patented technology that has made the Italian brand famous worldwide. Waterproofness, breathability, and thermo-regulation are the linchpins around which aesthetic innovation revolves, building a unique and unmistakable sense of identity that eschews formality and falls effortlessly in step with contemporary constantly evolving canons.

Brown, cognac, mahogany, and black lifted with burgundy and butterscotch accents—this is the rich autumnal palette that heralds the arrival of knee-high boots or more casual-chic ankle boots. There are the flat styles in tumbled calfskin with a side buckle detail; other ones in suede set on a mid-height heel with an elongated buckle which serves as an embellishment on the toe of the pumps; then, there are high-heeled versions, in a ballerina style too, with a glossy crocodile-print back and a suede front. A side zip fastens not only the nappa ankle boots with a mid-height heel and tapering toe, but also the more mannish flats with a rounded toe —a design that is similarly championed by the pieces with rear-zip closures. A patent or suede upper with a simple but elegant look defines the deliberately essential design of Walk Pleasure, the new frontier of feminine elegance. A multifunctional and versatile shoe which, thanks to an innovative sole construction, guarantees levels of comfort unprecedented comfort levels in women’s formal footwear.

The chunky-looking lug-sole shoes in nappa rest on an ultralight EVA outsole equipped with rubber inserts for an improved grip. They designed loafers with a chain decoration on the front, and the flat lace-ups, high-top Chelsea boots, and combat boots which are even available in a color-block pattern and an unusual pale-beige shade. The knee-high biker boots in plain black calfskin and a stretchy knitted material exude a resolute spirit while the lower-top versions feature quilted patterning and a metal chain on the front.

Renowned for delivering unbeatable levels of comfort, thanks to a cushioning layer over the entire outsole, Spherica embraces the casual-chic craze too. Here it comes in an ankle boot style with an elasticated side panel, or alternatively as a loafer in plain or suede calfskin. Made from a combination of suede and nappa, the Spherica sneaker rests on a glitter-flecked heel and oozes vintage charm, while the sportier-looking sneaker has a knitted upper in a recycled polyester yarn obtained from used plastic bottles, and is shot with lurex for a spot of sophisticated sparkle. Green is the watchword as is evident from another Spherica featuring an upper in soft cozy water-repellent felt (also made from recycled fibers)—yet another environmental hero joins the growing ranks of sustainable GEOX shoes. On the other hand, the cupsoles come in VEGEA, a plant-derived renewable material up-cycled from winery waste, vegetable oils, and natural agricultural fibers. A product of the partnership between GEOX and ACBC, a Milanese firm specialized in sustainable products, the ACBC X GEOX capsule collection boasts vintage tennis-style sneakers crafted entirely from animal-free, recycled or organic materials.

Completely waterproof and guaranteed to keep winter chills and wet weather at bay, the brand-new Spherica Amphibiox has been made from nappa or suede, either on the whole upper, or just on the heel, together with a knitted fabric. The trail-running sneakers in ultra-light nylon and the snug sporty-chic ski boots with a faux-sheepskin lining have been crafted from a mixture of tumbled calfskin, suede, and nubuck; Amphibiox technology takes a stride ahead with the Plus Grip outsoles, another novelty for the season. These soles are made from a special combination of materials and feature a trailblazing tread, meaning that they outperform on slippery ground. Amongst the other Amphibiox styles, the boots with a sheepskin lining are particularly remarkable and an ideal choice for snowy slopes and hikes at high Alpine altitudes.
