After a hiatus that seemed to be the longest of all, Miami Swim Week is back and better than ever. This time around, events are running from July 14th thru the 17th and feature a packed schedule of runway shows, parties, wellness events, and lots of fun under the sun. Everyone from celebrities to buyers, influencers and bloggers gathered in the Magic City to see the upcoming swimwear and resort trends.
We started the night with a show from Monday Swimwear. Known for its iconic feminine designs, high quality and perfect fit, they delighted us with a beautiful collection highlighting every body type, from curvy to short and pregnant women. After all, Monday Swimwear founders Natasha Oakley and Devin Brugman are strong body positivity advocates and know that all women have a bikini body and deserve to look like goddesses when rocking swimwear.
This collection featured bold colorways, chosen specifically to flatter every skin tone, along with buttery soft, resilient fabrics that provide the comfort and support needed for countless summers. The silhouettes ranged from bandeau tops to cheeky bottoms, cutout one pieces, along with covers and accessories to complement all looks. Their collection was timeless rather than trendy, as their main goal is to leave you feeling sexy, confident, and glowing.
In between shows, we got our tan on thanks for Mystic Tan who debuted its Tanning Glow Suite at the SLS Hotel South Beach. Models and VIP attendees had access to complimentary luxurious spray tans at their exclusive tanning booth lounge to unveil the most technologically advanced and personalized spray tan booth on the market–the forthcoming Mystic Tan Unity TM. This is the first fully automated, attendant-free, spray tanning booth.
Then, we stepped into the Paraiso Official Swim Week Kick-Off Party hosted by Paraiso Miami at the iconic W Hotel, nestled right in front of the ocean. The party scene was everything you could expect from Miami and more. Drinks were flowing, music was playing, and everyone was having a great time.
Day one of Miami Swim Week was everything we expected, and fresh and fabulous experiences are planned throughout the week to show people why Miami is the mecca of all things swimwear.
