December 1, 2022, at the“Futur Fashion Miami” runway shows, acclaimed international couturier Gustavo launched his first-ever Miami-inspired couture collection, Salvaje. Cadile is famously known for dressing Kim Kardashian, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Eva Longoria, Sofia Vergara, and many more.
The event occurred at Art Basel in Miami at Huacachina at Oasis Wynwood, 2335 N Miami Ave, Miami, Fl 33127. In addition to the runway, the sustainable, high-end, upcycled fashion art brand Dust of Gods celebrated its first U.S. showroom debut in Miami during Miami Art Week 2022 with a VIP Grand Opening Soiree hosted in collaboration with Medellín street artist, Mactivo.
The boutique was open on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday the 3rd, 2022, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at its new flagship store located in the heart of Wynwood at 2238 NW 1st Place, Miami, Florida 33127.
Mactivo gained popularity for his international work with his pop culture art sculpture, Yano. To celebrate Miami Art Week 2022, he participated in live painting a new art piece and showcasing a series of popular art sculptures and multi-media art pieces in the Dust of God’s new showroom.
“We’re honored to collaborate with another talented artist — he is also showing his artwork at CONTEXT this year and his creativity and aesthetic aligns perfectly with our brand,” said Phillip Spencley, Miami Showroom Director.
Toronto-based architect Antonio Tadrissi leads dust of Gods. The sustainable company offers upcycled, luxurious ‘one-of-one’ fashion pieces that are equally haute fashion and wearable art. Tadrissi stressed the importance of the brand’s values.
“Creativity, art and sustainability are at the forefront of the Dust of Gods brand, often featuring wearable art using grails, custom stitching, patchwork and mesh work,” said Tadrissi.
From high-end vintage jackets to hand-crafted pants, jackets, and hoodies, Dust of Gods uplifts the world of wearable art. “Dust of Gods has earned notorious popularity in the global fashion industry after being repeatedly worn by celebrities including Alexander Volkanovski, DJ Alesso, and more. Dust of Gods recently collaborated with singer and songwriter Jason Durulo for a unique fashion Collection featuring custom denim jackets, graphic T-shirts, hoodies, and a chain lock necklace.
