Most fashion houses have some of the most recognizable fragrances in the industry. Chanel, with maybe the most well-known, has N°5. The house, more known for its fashion and iconic handbags, has been making its scent since 1921. A quick Google search reveals that the brand has made over 130 fragrances since then.
‘‘Les Eaux de Chanel’ is one of the newer members of the Chanel fragrance family. First launched in 2018, this line of fragrances was created by Olivier Polgue, Chanel’s in-house perfumer and the son of legendary perfumer Jacques Polge, who held the same position for 37 years. The scents are inspired by the destinations that Gabrielle Chanel adored. Last year, the collection welcomed its newest fragrance ‘Paris-Paris,’ the location home to the brand. Currently, there are six scents, all offering other scented body products such as shower gel and body lotion.
All the scents are unique but offer fresh citrusy notes simultaneously, which makes this collection unite as one family, a wonderful summer option. Also, every smell is unisex. My favorites? I love the hint of sweet vanilla in Paris-Venise and the vibrant floral notes in Paris-Paris. They will undoubtedly bring you the feelings of each city as they are described and inspire you for your next travel destination!
