Fashion 360 Magazine rang in the holidays in style with their fabulous Holiday Beauty Bash party. The event was held at Casa, an expansive, high-ceilinged space furnished with elegant white couches and colorful urban art. The space was filled with beautiful people, dressed to impress, and out for a good time. I headed to the bar and ordered a gin tonic. The bartender smiled and handed me my cocktail.

Towards the back of the venue, sundays nail studio had set up a salon space, and were offering guests their signature manicures using non-toxic, cruelty-free, vegan nail polish. A vampy blond was getting her nails painted a festive crimson red, while her friend filmed for her InstaStories feed. She was giggling and enjoying the pampering and attention. The manicurist painted a flirty eye-lashed eye onto the ring fingers of each hand, for a standout finishing touch.

Chef Delvon Glover of Dell Glover Catering created a special menu for the evening, inspired by the flavors of the holiday season. He made sure that there was something for everyone to savor, providing gluten-free, carb-free, and vegan options, all of them delicious.A heaping mound of honey-orange glazed chicken wings were artfully presented on a serving platter, alongside another platter of fluffy, truffled deviled eggs topped with tomato and smoked salmon. A creamy tofu spread topped with cranberry and caramelized onion was served on crispy slices of perfectly toasted crostini. Everything was ultra-tasty, the bites showing off Delvon’s culinary artistry. Delvon shared that one of his favorite things to do is to create a dinner menu for two, cooking in his client’s kitchen, and curating a special evening filled with gourmet delights. “I’m definitely adding a private gourmet dinner cooked by you to my holiday gift list!” He smiled. “This is why I love to cook. I love feeding people and creating a memorable experience for them.”

Our co-founder/host Ik came to say hello, and handed me a slender aluminum can. “Taste this. It’s so yummy!” I popped the can open and took a sip. A sparkly, slightly sweet orange flavor filled my mouth. “Oooooh so good!” “Isn’t it? They’re from Spain, and it’s made with 100% oranges.” The drink is called Tarongino, and it’s made locally in Valencia, Spain. I felt like I was drinking a slice of the sunny Mediterranean coast, with a sassy kick, as the beverage is alcoholic. “This would make a great cocktail mixer.” Not yet available in the states, I will definitely add this unique drink to my home bar selection when they arrive on this side of the Atlantic.

Illionaire Society was in da house, showing off their cool urban gear. Ill stands for “I Love Life,” shared Mystery and Dropp, co-founders of the brand. “An Illionaire is someone who has an abundance of illness, a possession of riches that aren’t based on money and materialism.” The brand features their Faceless Gentleman graphic on many of their styles. “He represents every individual aspiring to make their dreams reality. The cloud symbolizes an elevated mind-state. The business attire represents an elegant professionalism. And the faceless figure symbolizes that everyone can be an Illionaire!” Ashanti, the head of women’s apparel, pointed out distinctive details that make the brand stand out. A bodycon sweatshirt dress featured an asymmetrical zipper at the neckline, and a cool double-hood design. And especially for the holidays, they had created a Santa Faceless Gentleman brightly printed on an oversized hoodie.

Ik handed me a beauty gift bag overflowing with goodies as I headed out into the cold winter night. Sponsors included nXt Bag, Make Up For Ever, On Location Tours, SmileNV, Laurme Skin Care, GuestBox, enmarie, Dr. Marder Skincare, Sundaily, Bigen Hair, JUNKLESS Foods, Bon Temps, BarBacon, sundays, and Illionaire Society. The beauty bash would continue at home, as I looked forward to exploring the contents of my goodie bag filled with fabulousness.
