Last month our Style Editor headed to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City to see T.I. perform at the Daer nightclub. Her report of the weekend has us booking tickets, just for the burgers…
On arrival, you go through reception, and if you have a friend who is a regular (either guest or gambler) then you get to go through the VIP entrance which is a pretty smooth entrance. The rooms in this hotel are spectacular, especially the suites, and they offer views across the ocean which on a sunny day are absolutely stunning. Treating its guests with the 5* service, the bathrooms here are FULL of all those goodies that you have to put straight in your luggage to take home – it’s the small things…
Later IK and her friends headed to Sugar Factory which is a restaurant and bar within the hotel itself. Sugar Factory is basically what it says – drinks, desserts, chocolate, and candies, although the drinks feel a little like they’ve been watered down. By sundown, it was time to party so they headed to the Daer Nightclub, which again is in the hotel and always has shows on. T.I. performed some amazing music, and as usual, seemed very humble and friendly with the crown and grateful for his fans. The bouncers here are also super nice, not the pushy kind that likes to throw their weight around!
In the morning, they headed to the Hard Rock Cafe (naturally) and it was “probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had. I had like a smashed avocado pizza/flatbread that was delicious. I also had a burger – it was called a Guinness Burger! I had it rare and it was soooo juicy. The best burger I ever had. I also had onion rings which were so great. So obviously I couldn’t finish all the food, but I had to try it all. I really liked that they also had a whole page of Mocktails which were really good. Honestly come to Hard Rock, food is SO GOOD.”
