In a previous article we wrote last year, we covered 5 travel-friendly shoe brands that are slowly but surely adapting vegan practices, some of which are already vegan. In this article, we will delve into 5 more vegan or partially vegan shoe brands friendly for traveling.

NAE

NAE Vegan Shoes sells sandals, sneakers and wallets, that are all trendy, vegan, and comparable in look to non-vegan alternatives. The Portugal-based shoe brand has excellent-quality shoes, that sell for approximately $100 each.

ORIGINALS – $119

Rens

The Rens shoeware brand has created sneakers out of coffee and yarn, that are completely waterproof: Ads show people wearing them comfortably standing in puddles, while their feet stay completely dry. They pride themselves on making the world’s first waterproof sneaker made out of coffee.

LifeStride

The LifeStride brand has long been a favorite of our magazine. The shoe brand, which includes boots, professional shoes, sandals, and sneakers, is great quality, and one of the more affordable vegan brands. Furthermore, their vegan boots look like real leather. Wearing them over the years, I have received endless compliments, and people are always shocked the boots are vegan and not real leather.

Veja

Veja, a very popular shoe brand in Europe and Asia, has a line of vegan shoes. The CWL V-15 models are vegan. For example, the V-15 CWL FULL BLACK V-15 CWL WHITE ROUILLE BUTTER SOLE. They are made of organic cotton covered with resin from corn & castor oil. Their shoes sells for $100-160, on average, and some of the most desired collections sell for $250 or more.

Mink

The Mink brand, created by Rebecca Mink, is a luxury vegan brand that is coveted by celebrities, for both flats and high heels. Their prices are higher, but, for a luxury, celebrity-coveted brand, the prices are actually pretty reasonable. A pair of espadrilles at Mink sells for just shy of $300.
