As we become more exposed to the environmental dangers of fast fashion and its extremely unethical process, more people and major fashion brands are making pledges to become more sustainable. Here are three major fashion brands that plan on being more sustainable.

1. ZARA

Being one of the largest retail fashion companies globally, ZARA is making huge pledges for the upcoming years as a more sustainable, eco-friendly brand. They now recycle all alarms, hangers, and boxes and commit to being 100% free from single-use plastic products. Furthermore, they’ve pledged that by this year, 50% of their materials will be manufactured within the standards of their Join Life Collection, which is the brand’s sustainable collection.

TOMS

TOMS is the shoe brand advocating it’s ONE FOR ONE’ campaign, where every shoe purchased by a customer another is given to a child in need. TOMS strives toward sustainability by using 100% sustainable packaging and cotton to create a more environmentally friendly brand.

ADIDAS

All day, I dream about sustainability! Adidas has plans to use more recyclable materials to become more sustainable. They plan on using only recycled polyester by 2024 and are committed to fair-labor practices, so they are both ethical and environmentally friendly.
