One of the earliest brands to take swimwear sustainable, Vitamin A are your go-to for a mix and match bikini collection and cute cover ups. A locally produced brand, Vitamin A collections are ethically made here in the USA, using OEKO-TEX certified recycled nylon & plant-based fabrics.
Originally a lingerie brand, this Italian company is now producing ethically made swimwear collections, created with natural dyes and made in Italy. Although only currently in 3 colors (red, blue, black) their versatile tops can be worn in a variety of ways to compliment any body shape.
Summersalt’s current swimwear collection features some flattering silhouettes in solid colours and some pretty cute prints. The brand has used a serious data set of real women’s measurements to create their sizing and fit which makes their swimwear some of the most comfortable and supportive out there. Summersalt use recycled polyamide (plastic) and have WRAP & BSCI certified ethical production in Asia. Fashionable and sustainable, we love to see it!
Founded by surfing champion Kelly Slater, Outerknown creates swimwear made with recycled polyester and recycled spandex in a Fair Trade Certified facility. The brand has sustainable swimwear for all genders from surf leggings to swim shorts to men’s trunks so you can choose something for your man too.
We’re long-term fangirls of Dippin’ Daisy’s, the brand creates fun, stylish, and comfortable swimwear for a range of body shapes. All of their swimwear is made with recycled nylon, recycled foam inserts, and natural rubber elastic. They also have a Re: Purpose collection which makes new collections out of previous collection deadstock, reducing production waste.
