February 1st, 2022: Cancer has touched the lives of most of us, directly or indirectly so, this February, in honor of National Cancer Prevention Month, Mia Becar is taking action. Mia Becar has teamed up with Cancer Cartel, a passion driven, national, nonprofit organization addressing the financial burdens that come with cleaning up the cost of cancer. This month, 100% of proceeds from sales of the Grace sandal will be donated to Cancer Cartel to help cancer warriors who are facing financial challenges due to this medical battle.

From gas money to groceries, meals to mortgage payments, Cancer Cartel awards grants to alleviate the financial burden that accompanies a cancer diagnosis. The Grace sandal is a remembrance piece; the design, featuring a beautifully hand printed and delicate flower, is an ode to Betsy’s friend who passed from cancer. We fell in love with the mission – not to mention the women – behind Cancer Cartel.
