Bold and vibrant ceramic pieces complement a room. Behind every design is a creator at heart. Arianna De Luca is a multifaceted interior designer and ceramist. Educated at Central Saint Martins, De Luca creates objects inspired by Mediterranean style, showcasing landscapes and culture.
De Luca started her work as an interior designer in the U.K., South America, and London, where she completed an M.A. at Central Saint Martins. De Luca is currently based in Rome, the location of her artisanal workshop. Her work with ceramics began in 2017 when she sought to create pieces that would complement her interior designs. The result of her work has been the production of her very own ceramic design collection.
Constantly seeking authenticity, her projects reflect her interest in the Mediterranean. De Luca draws attention to the narrative and emotional sides of her designs, creating an aesthetic that fosters cheerful pieces in bold shapes and vibrant Mediterranean colors.
De Luca is inspired by the Mediterranean landscape, culture, artisanal heritage, and more, drawing upon research into tradition to begin with, a starting point for each of her works. Her ceramic pieces are deeply rooted in the 80s Italian design language and the Vietri ceramic heritage.
De Luca has produced three collections in the past few years, including Bonanza, Folcloristica, and P.G.R., each hosting authentic ceramic pieces.
