Luli Fama, the renowned local Miami designer, stole the spotlight at Paraiso Swim Week on Saturday, June 10 with the debut of their vibrant new swimwear collection Puerto Luli. Capturing the spirit of island hopping in the Caribbean, the show opened with a lively salsa performance before displaying their collection of colorful one-pieces, cheeky bikinis, and resort-ready wear, sure to inspire wanderlust and get you in a tropical state of mind.
The vibrant and colorful collection was modeled by a star-studded cast of Luli Babes on the runway including Lele Pons, Cindy Prado, Águeda Lopez, and many others.
Each piece in the collection exudes confidence, featuring bold neon prints, intricate patterns, and high-quality fabrics. Neon lime and fuchsia take center stage as key colors in this collection, adding a touch of energy and playfulness to the designs. From eye-catching maxis to playful bikinis adorned with tropical prints, the Luli Puerto collection perfectly captures the essence of island culture, infusing each garment with a sense of adventure.
“The inspiration behind the collection comes from the journey to Puerto Luli, not just the destination. Our pieces are a culmination of the tropical colors, the crystal clear waters, and the mood that automatically takes over once you are en route. This concept encompasses all the destinations we have visited and dream of visiting,” says Augusto Hanimian, co-designer of Luli Fama.
As the ultimate swim week veteran with more than 10 years of show experience in Miami, Luli Fama’s new see-now-buy-now collection was an instant hit. The event showcased the designer’s dedication to crafting quality swimwear that embraces individuality and promotes self-confidence. The show received praise from top fashion media, industry professionals, and celebrities alike. The entire cast of The Real Housewives of Miami including Adriana de Moura, Alexia Echevarria, Guerdy Abraira, Julia Lemigova, Lisa Hochstein, Marisol Patton and Larsa Pippen were all in attendance to cheer on cast mate, Kiki Barth who walked the show.
