Miami Swim Week 2022 returned to Miami Beach from July 14-21. The show explored new industry trends and brands and showcased, of course, swimwear. We were lucky to connect with some brands at the Cabana Show and learn more about their missions.

Le Mogador

Le Mogador is a Miami-based brand with creations handmade by Female artisans in Morocco through natural materials and sustainable processing. The brand works intimately with artisans to ensure handmade designs. As a result, each bag and shoe are handwoven in an intricate process. It takes around three days to complete the shoe-making process, with shoes being around $180 as the company encourages product accessibility to the public. Products can be purchased online.

Lily & Rose

Based in Istanbul, Lily & Rose displayed two different collections for this season. The booth displayed their signature collection of swimwear that showcased bright pastels with chain detailing. The brand loves to use different bright colors and gold-plated handmade accessories produced in Istanbul. Products can be purchased online.

Erika Pena

Erika Pena is a brand “designed to make women feel like goddesses,” according to owner and designer Erika Pena. Pena went to Parson’s design school in New York and started her brand four years out of school. Pieces are mostly made with biodegradable cotton fabrics to stay natural and breathable for the wearer. Designs combine resort wear and evening bridal wear, along with a new jewelry line that features large gold pieces. Products can be found on their website.
