Son Jung Wan F/W 2017

Inspired by the 80’s, Son Jung Wan focused on an exaggerated silhouette using a myriad of fabrics and textures. Raccoon, beaver and fox furs dominated the runway in vivid shades of orange, turquoise, purple and green. Wintery fabrics such as velvet, wool, and metallic embroidered jacquard were also seen. Bold mixes of turquoise, blue and brown progressed to burgundy, grey and luxurious gold white.

An oversized fur jacket paired with velvety trousers and a masculine wool jacket worn with delicate satin pants brought dramatic and opulence qualities to the collection. Some of the highlights were a high waisted grey checkered jumpsuit over a gold satin blouse, and a white fur vest layered with a white gold jacquard jacket and gold leather pants.
