Images By: Katie ThompsonThis season, Palmier du Mal ditched the runway and executed a standing room fashion/church theme presentation for his Spring 2018 collection. Mass took place on Palm Wednesday, July 14th at the Gramercy Hotel’s Rosé Bar at 9 P.M. The Rosé Bar fit
the mood and ambiance perfect for this daring designer and electrifying collection.

Rose velvet, Dalmatian prints, olive silks, zebra striped linen, floral prints and pink fur kept the global aesthetic of the designer’s signature characteristics. Palmiers du Mal’s previous collection for Fall 2017, we saw dark shades of green on oversized button down blouses, gray furs, velvet bomber jackets, lots of pink within multiple garments. Palmiers du Mal continues to show consistency within their collections every season, with a bit more edge within prints and color.

The collection is raw and colorful, just like the legendary music icons covering the walls of the Rosé Bar like Tupac, Eminem, and Lil Kim. 16 models in Sexy, vibrant and vivid garments presented the collection in front of the grand fire place with an after party to put a close to mass.
