Initiatives in Art & Culture (IAC) Seventh Annual Gold Conference

From April 26 to Friday 28, 2017, Initiatives in Art & Culture (IAC) is holding its Seventh Annual Gold Conference, entitled “Creativity, Community & Collaboration.” IAC is an organization committed to educating the public in the “fine, decorative, and visual arts, as well as architecture.” IAC has held conferences and exhibitions throughout the years on various topics such as the Arts and Crafts movement, American painting and history of frames.

This year, IAC’s conference includes a conversation with Andrea Hansen, Founder of , LuxeIntelligence; Jim Tuttle, Founder and President of, Green Lake Jewelry Works; and Mickey Alam Khan, Founder and Editor in Chief of, Luxury Daily, titled “Transforming Retail,” and a presentation by David Mills, Director of Communications and Marketing at, Goldsmiths’ Company on “Heritage, Traditional Methods, and New World Education: Goldsmith’s Hall and Goldsmith’s Center – Bringing Jewelers Into the 21st Century.”

The event kicked off with a cocktail viewing reception at the Reinstein/Ross, Goldsmiths Downtown Store, and Gallery and will be followed by a series of conversations and presentations at The Graduate Center, the City University of New York for the next two days.
