On April 4th, 2017, the Hive Showroom held a press day in its New York City Office. Editors and stylists were introduced to several of Hive’s new and existing brands.
Among the most impressive was Suncoo, a contemporary womenswear brand from Paris, France. The F/W 17 collection ranged from Studio 54 themed looks to Boho to Ornamental Sporty designs. Copper, lurex shirts, and mohair knits exuded the 70’s vibe while floral dresses and faux fur suggested bohemian chic. Bombers, nightie dresses, and sequins completed the sporty streetwear look.
Inverni presented elegant and playful hats and head wraps from Florence, Italy. Cashmere, fox fur, and jewels completed the luxurious feel of the collection. Liven, another luxury brand from Florence, Italy, presented its signature cosmopolitan and practical designs in black leather puffers, reversible shearling and plaid statement outwear pieces.
Alessandra Chamonix is an outerwear brand based in Italy. Its latest collection featured denim pieces and bold statement sleeves on traditional parkas. Aeron is a womenswear brand from Hungary that specializes in tailored pants, oversize sweaters, and minimalistic dresses. Aeron focused on reinventing traditional tailoring techniques using rich materials such as distinctive suede Japanese leather.
QL2’s F/W 17 collection consisted of luxurious Italian pants while True Tradition featured women’s pants, blazers, jackets, and cotton blouses in various textures such as corduroy and velvet.
