The setting was intimate for Washington Roberts’ presentation for their Spring 2013 Ready To Wear collection, held atop Hotel Indigo’s roof in Chelsea, the metropolitan. The eight-look collection fit right in against the skyline of which its patrons will be walking through. Pastel colors and angular peplum waists were the main focus, with some accents and variations, such as strong color-blocking and sequin/glitter embellishment, respectively.

Nolcha Fashion Week is a collaborative effort and global platform for independent designers to showcase their collections to a vast audience, including press, retailers, and stylists, providing them the opportunity to broaden their clientele, and expand their brand. With 5-7 designers presenting their collections each show, the array of styles is awe-inspiring, and almost jarring.
