Paris Haute Couture F/W 2017- Ewa Minge

Share

For Fall/Winter 2017, Ewa Minge intertwines enchanting maximalism with ancient gypsy fables to craft a vision unseen before on the Paris haute-couture runways. Decadent embroidery seamlessly compliments baroque-inspired prints, while ornate fabrics and bohemian silhouettes partner flawlessly.

Throughout the collection, intricately beaded butterflies graced trousers, jackets, and gowns. The labor-some works of art were created in part by “students” of the Black Butterflies Foundation, a center that gives female cancer patients the opportunity to heal through creating art. Minge also designed with the idea of real beauty in mind, as the designer sent a plus-size model down the runway. Ewa Minge establishes a tone for a new wave of fashion, one that is suitable for every shape and size.
