On October 30, 2017, BACARDÍ hosted a Halloween bash named “Dress To Be Free”, a celebration of the beauty of those who express themselves in their truest forms. The evening consisted of dance, creative expression, and delicious cocktails. The highlight of the night was the performance by chart-topping Cardi B and Les Twins dancers.

Cardi B arrived in style donning a “Bruella” de Vil costume that consisted of black and white fur coat and matching hairdo, long red gloves, a black embellished bustier, and a long cigarette holder. Cardi B also celebrated her Rolling Stone cover, which had debuted earlier in the day. Other noteworthy guests at the event included DJ Nina Sky, actor Broderick Hunter, and models Vashtie Kola, Jordun Love, Slick Woods, and more.

Guests enjoyed Caribbean themed BACARDÍ Zombie, a tiki cocktail made with BACARDÍ Superior and BACARDÍ Gold, as well as exciting surprises from House of Yes. They also witnessed a surprise dance set from Parisian dancers and choreographers Les Twins, who have performed with Beyoncé and Missy Elliott in the past.

Cardi B performed her Billboard number one hit “Bodak Yellow” along with “Lick”, “Motorsports”, “No Limit”, and “Foreva.” During the performance, she encouraged guests to dress however they want and be whoever they want, saying that is what the #DresstobeFree movement means to her. She reminded the crowd that her name is a nickname for Bacardi and that she was honored to perform at the BACARDÍ event.
