Fashion 360 Magazine was invited by Marie Saeki PR to a press day event, which took place  at JA-MH showroom in Manhattan on October 13th & 14th, to preview the latest Spring 2012  commodities from both companies clientsup close and personal. Several brilliant clothing and accessories designers’ collections were on display. Press week in New York allows you to do what Fashion Week does not, touch the apparel, try on the jewels, and speak one on one with the designers. Fashion Press Week is a true fashion maven’s dream.  As Fashion 360 Magazine was personally guided through the JA-MH showroom, each turn unveiled a chic find. We are ecstatic to report all our amazing finds back to you!

Alice Ritter, a French native now based in New York showcased her spring 2012 at the press event. The line was revitalizing, featuring lightweight fabrics in fresh colors reminiscent of the first warm days of spring, in tones of alluring corals and blues. The spring colors were not only the star of the collection, patterns of oriental florals, stars and polka dots were used in flowing dresses, classic halter tops and chic cropped trousers. The pieces beckoned for the perfect spring holiday weekend. The namesake collection, Alice Ritter, designed for spring featured classic separates with soft lines suggestive of young Parisian femininity.  The dresses with flirty hemlines seemed to dance right above the knee. My favorite look of the collection seemed to take on a modern approach, with an endearing red and white star print dress with asymmetrical cropped sleeves, Tres Chic! The Alice Ritter Spring 2012 collection is the ideal combination of whimsy and structure for the modern girl playing dress up in the big city.

Petit Bateau or if you don’t speak French “Little Boat” offered a refreshing assortment of ready to wear casuals. Tee-shirts in V necks and boat necks in stripes and solids patterns are always on tap for every Spring collection. Petit Bateau is  an everyday staple in causal French dressing with dresses in supple cotton and wools. Swimwear in summery hues of orange, pink and green also will make a splash this 2012 season in the Petit Bateau line.
